Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced EDI/API Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in resolving data discrepancies, improving processes, and providing exceptional service to clients. This is a remote position based on Pacific Standard Time, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while supporting operations in San Francisco, California.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies reported by clients and insurance carriers, ensuring data accuracy.
- Analyze the root causes of issues and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with teams to automate workflows and enhance integration processes.
- Deliver high-quality support to clients by addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Work with EDI transactions, APIs, and related technologies to manage data exchanges effectively.
- Utilize tools such as ANSI X12, DB2 Database, and File Gateway for efficient data management.
- Configure and optimize systems to meet business requirements and improve performance.
- Document business processes and requirements to facilitate seamless communication with stakeholders.
- Conduct testing, including A/B testing, to ensure the reliability of system updates and integrations.
- Participate in additional projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team. Requirements - A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations or a related role within benefits administration.
- Proficiency in working with systems such as OneKonnect, Noyo, Ideon, or other similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of EDI transactions, ANSI X12 standards, and API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with tools like DB2 Database, File Gateway, and Gentran.
- Familiarity with configuration management and the ability to document business requirements.
- Understanding of Applicability Statement 2 (AS2) protocols and business process functions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- A degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
