Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Elementary School Teacher at Delaware Christian School, located in Delaware, OH. The Elementary School Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging and effective lessons, developing and maintaining a supportive classroom environment, assessing and tracking student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational approach. Additionally, the teacher will communicate with parents and guardians to support student development and maintain a positive school community.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Curriculum Development and Elementary Education
Solid Teaching skills with a strong commitment to student-centered learning
Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
Education background consistent with state requirements for elementary school teaching
Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; advanced degree preferred
Teaching certification or licensure as required by the state of Ohio
