We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Change Manager to lead and manage the
documentation, assessment, and implementation of project scope changes. This role is
responsible for identifying, tracking, evaluating, and facilitating all contract document
modifications and change orders in collaboration with project management, field operations,
and clients. The ideal candidate will ensure changes are clearly documented, accurately priced,
and aligned with contractual terms and company objectives.

Specific Responsibilities:

Oversee the change management process across all active projects, ensuring all scope
changes are identified, assessed, and processed in a timely manner.
Review project documentation, drawings, and field reports to detect scope deviations
and potential change events.
Work with Project Managers, Estimators, and Field Supervisors to develop cost
estimates and impact assessments for proposed changes.
Prepare and submit change order documentation to general contractors and clients,
including pricing, backup, and schedule impacts.
Track and maintain a centralized log of all change requests, approvals, denials, and
pending items.
Collaborate with accounting and project teams to ensure timely billing and revenue
recognition related to approved change orders.
Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on change status, trends, and risk
exposure.
Support continuous improvement of the change management workflow, documentation
standards, communication protocols, contract requirements, client expectations, and
company standards.

Skills and Qualification

5+ years of experience in project management, estimating, or contract administration in
the electrical or construction industry.
Strong understanding of electrical construction processes, contract language, and
project financials.
Proven experience managing change orders and project scope modifications in a
commercial construction environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical and
financial details clearly.
Proficiency with construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint, or
similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelors degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or related field
preferred.
